How to Register for GTBank Internet Banking
From your mobile phone registered with the bank, dial *737*6*5#. Your GTBank UserID and password will be sent to you as SMS. Follow the procedures in the message to change your password. The password must be changed within 24 hours of getting it.
Furthermore, log in with the UserID and new password at gtbank.com. The same login details can also be used on the GTBank mobile banking app.
While performing transactions on the GTBank website, you will be asked for a token code. There are two ways to get the token code; its either you have the GTBank hardware token or you generate a token code via USSD. GTBank hardware tokens cost about 2,000 Naira.
In case, you cannot afford the hardware token, you can generate token codes via USSD by dialing the following codes; *737*7#. Enter your pin to receive the token code. Please note that the pin code to enter is not your ATM pin. You can create your pin by dialing *737*5#, enter the last six digits of your ATM card and create your pin.
In addition, the token’s generated via USSD last for only 2 minutes. They can only work for transactions not higher that 500,000 Naira.
